Traveling Aware is a leader in Global Travel Security. Traveling Aware was founded in 2014 by Entrepreneur and experienced Global Traveler Robert Reismeyer and longtime friend, a retired Marine Corps Master Gunnery Sargent.

Traveling Aware provides armed and unarmed agents to protect Executives and corporations at work, home, and during international and domestic travels. In addition to on- site protection, Traveling Aware offers personal Safe Travel Training courses that teaches educational techniques and lifesaving strategies that inform travelers on how to safe while traveling in the states or abroad. Robert is a graduate of the University of Missouri with a degree in Agricultural Economics. He is a member of the Association of the United States Army (AUSA) and the SOF (Special Operations Forces) Foundation. Each year in January, his company (Travel Benefit by Design) sponsors a Marine Corps Mess Night to benefit the Focus Marines Foundation, a not-for- profit organization that helps returning Veterans with PTSD and traumatic brain injury.
Kent Harris

Kent is an entrepreneur and Independent Corporate Security Contractor who brings more than 30 years of safety and security experience to Traveling Aware. Harris worked for the Department of State as a Contractor in the Diplomatic Security Service for over 10 years. Harris has an impressive 27 years of experience in Explosive Ordinance Disposal (EOD). Harris’s extensive background and expertise also include Vital Infrastructure and Soft Target Risk Assessments, Workplace Violence and Personal Protective Services Planning. Harris’s distinguished career and knowledge of US and Global threats are invaluable to the company and clients.
Rod Yeager (In Memorium)

Rod is a Vietnam Veteran (1971-1972) and a retired United States Air Force Full Colonel (1964-1989). Yeager’s extensive worldwide security travels led him to 24 foreign countries, making him one of the world’s most trusted Security Agents. He will be missed.

Our Agents are accomplished Operations Support Specialist with decades of combined active duty and US Government-sponsored R&D for Special Operations and Intelligence Communities. Serving in the United States Navy, Marines and Army, our Agents have first hand knowledge of the dangers that threaten this world.
